Firstly we have some common sense advice for you. Pack the luggage from each room separately. The packing can seem a quite difficult work, regarded from the perspective of the whole house. Packing from each room separately means dividing your work in smaller parts; therefore it can be performed more easily. Note on each box which room it belongs to.
Fill the boxes to the top. Upload the boxes so that they can be closed easily. The boxes in which more things are arranged can’t be closed properly and they can’t be piled up.

Before moving

Announce the companies which supply electrical energy, TV cable, telephone, gas etc. and tell them that you are going to move. Try if it is possible to redirect the bills, the letters and everything in your mail box, to the new address. Establish a date to interrupt this service.
Join the moving company when they come to take your order. You must tell them how to arrange the boxes, which boxes will be arranged the first and which the last. Give instructions when you consider that it is necessary. Take a copy of the inventory from the transport supervisor. Check twice if there are damages with your objects or luggage.
Label the boxes and note on each of them some details about the new place where they must be taken in the new location (for example floor 1, room 3). Arrange the boxes in trucks in the inverse order of the rooms in the new home (the things in the first room must be uploaded the last).

Kitchen furniture will be uploaded the first, because it is heavier, and heavy things must stay forward.

Don’t forget to take papers with you. You can also take flowers, if it is possible in your personal car. During hot summer days and because of darkness in the transport vehicle they can die if the transport is on long distance or it takes long time.
